Recruiters from Title Source joined startup and tech company recruiters from across the country for HackerX on Tuesday, June 27 in Detroit. Candidates attended HackerX to explore opportunities and have valuable facetime time with companies such as Title Source, which is seeking new team members for its growing technology team.
“There was great energy in the room and attendees were very engaged,” Title Source Talent Strategist Emily Schonberg said. “The quality of candidates was great, which is good because the Title Source technology team has so many hiring needs due to our growth and new tech initiatives.”
Title Source is currently looking to fill nearly 40 positions on its technology team.
According to its site, HackerX events are designed as an invite-only passive recruiting event for developers. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet with and learn more about some of the world’s most innovative and fastest growing companies in a casual environment, face-to-face.
Recruiters from Title Source talked with candidates during quick, informal, speed-dating style interviews. Conversations covered a range of topics, including Title Source’s unique culture and distinct work programs such as Tesseract, which provides all Title Source technology team members with weekly dedicated hours to work on their own passion projects.
A tech company at its core, Title Source’s technology team is known for developing some of the best proprietary software and mobile apps in the title industry. The company has experienced steady growth over its 20-year history, increasing its number of team members by an average of more than 22% each year since its inception in 1997.
“We’re looking for candidates with hands on experience,” Schonberg said. “We want people who like to innovate, collaborate and work with teams.”
