Commercial Real Estate Women (The CREW) Leadership Summit
This June, female leaders from across the globe including Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, gathered in Toronto for the 2017 CREW Network Spring Leadership Summit. The CREW Leadership Summit, which stands for Commercial Real Estate Women, was created to provide leadership training, idea exchanges and skill demonstrations for participants in a supportive environment. The event took place on June 22nd and 23rd at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel.
The summit drew global, female real estate moguls to the two-day event that started with a general meeting. Here, CREW members were able to ask representatives from the national office questions and offer suggestions, and was followed by a welcome reception and dining at one of Toronto’s top restaurants.
The final day of the event was dedicated to networking, development training and keynote speakers. Cheryl Cran, George Pincus and Toni Rossi all spoke on subjects ranging from leadership and personal branding, negotiating and public sector real estate.
“It was an amazing opportunity to network and talk with other women in the real estate industry,” Joanie Zimmer, Vice President of Title Source Commercial Counsel, said. “The leadership points presented by the speakers are actions that can be utilized by anyone looking to become a more effective leader.”
The two day summit concluded leaving attendees empowered and excited to meet again in Houston for the National Convention in October.
