Title Source talent specialists participated in Detroit’s first WomenHack in search of leading women technology candidates. WomenHack organizes and promotes recruitment and networking events designed to connect top female technology candidates with professional opportunities. Title Source is currently looking to fill multiple positions on its technology team.
“The environment was great and we think attendees got a true taste of Title Source’s culture of inclusion,” said Emily Schonberg, Title Source Senior Talent Strategist. “We’re committed to the mission of the event and to support opportunities for women in technology.”
WomenHack launched less than a year ago and Detroit marks the nineteenth city in which the organization has hosted its recruiting and networking events. Modeled after a speed-dating style meet and greet, WomenHack’s attendees are invite-only technology candidates who take part in five-minute interviews with participating companies looking to support diversity in the technology space, such as Title Source. The speed-dating technique, according to WomenHack’s website is designed to be a pressure-free environment that allows candidates to engage with and explore opportunities with tech-focused companies.
“Speed-dating events such as WomenHack are an excellent way for technology candidates to put themselves in front of Title Source talent specialists,” said Schonberg. “And there couldn’t be a more perfect time for women in the technology field to reach out to us. Our tech team is growing exponentially and we have some really amazing opportunities.”
